Join Quaker Vegan Witness for a special online screening of ‘The Empathy Project‘ — a 30-minute documentary exploring compassion and change in animal activism.
Bel Jacobs, founder of the project, will be joining us and will share more about the inspiration behind it, the motivation for the movement, and answer audience questions in an open discussion. There will also be space for personal reflection and open conversation.
“Many films approach animal advocacy by shocking audiences with the very real violence our systems do to animals,” says director Tristan Copley-Smith. “With this film, we wanted to take a different approach: to try and understand the internal emotional experience that has transformed our subjects into making animal justice such a central part of their lives.“
